GLOBAL OUTREACH (six Special Sunday Offerings during the year)
Christmas Offering - helps the Regional Ministries with developing Summer Camps, educational workshops for Sunday School teachers and other services
Week of Compassion - provides food for the hungry, helps deliver first aid and medication worldwide, provides comfort and assistance after natural disasters, helps rebuild homes after hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and forest fires
Easter Offering - supports the worldwide mission of the Disciples of Christ. Some of the missions are: Disciples Home Mission, Division of Higher Education and Division of Overseas Ministries
Pentecost Offering - a time to celebrate the birth of God's church, the offering helps to develop new Disciples of Christ churches in our region and throughout North America
Reconciliation - helps provide programs for justice, harmony and friendship among all people
Thanksgiving - to support leader development through colleges, universities and theological institutions related to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
LOCAL OUTREACH
FISH - first Sunday of each month is designated FISH Sunday with monetary and food contributions going to the FISH food pantry
PADS - Public Action to Deliver Shelter - evening meals are provided by various Church Circles and groups during the months of October thru April. Collection of needed items is also taken to PADS during the winter months.
Thanksgiving Baskets - in conjunction with local churches and townships, a monetary collection helps provide a Thanksgiving meal to needy families
Home of Hope - a retreat for cancer patients and their families. Monetary donations help to provide needed books, audio tapes and other materials needed for their many programs
Good Neighbors - a monetary donation helps this emergency center provide referral and/or financial assistance to needy families
AGAPE Care Team - health and medical center staffed by volunteers including physicians and nurses to provide medical care for individuals and families not able to find medical care due to financial difficulties or lack of private or government insurance.
Christmas "Tree of Love" helps the Salvation Army provide Christmas gifts and food for needy families
